We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated HR Generalist to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting our employees and organizational growth. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across various functions within the organization. This role requires a versatile individual with expertise in recruitment, HRIS management, a solid understanding of employment law, and the ability to provide effective support to managers and team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the onboarding team when bringing new individuals into the organization in HR functions and managing new hire paperwork processes.
  • Utilize the HRIS system to maintain accurate employee data, generate reports, and streamline HR processes.
  • Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Manage and process leaves of absence and ADA requests.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives, programs, and policies to promote employee engagement and retention.
  • Support HR projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the HR department and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, with a strong ability to attract and retain top talent.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms.
  • Sound knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization in person and remotely.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

Salary: $52,000-$65,000 per year DOE
